Job Description

We are seeking a mission driven individual to become a Lead Engineering/Agile Manager Technical Lead in support of our U.S. Government customer. This position is located in the National Capital Region.

As a Lead Engineering/Agile Manager Technical Lead, you will:

A week in the life of Lead Engineering/Agile Manager Technical Lead:



  • Lead and coach the agile teams in the adoption and use of Agile Development and DevSecOps best practices, activities, tools, and techniques.
  • Tailor processes to maximize agile team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and manage project technical and architecture risks
  • Remove obstacles and impediments for agile teams by ensuring cross-team coordination and larger organizational support.
  • Interface with project stakeholders including government personnel and other agencies to document customer requirements and translate those requirements into business and technical requirements, user stories and use cases for implementation by agile developer teams.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies, ensuring that agile sprints and releases are planned and executed efficiently with emphasis on customer priorities.
  • Work with Product Owners (Team Leads) in development of product backlogs.
  • Establish processes / entrance and exit criteria for design / development, testing, and deployment milestones
  • Develop and communicate the program vision and roadmap

Job Requirements

  • Existing SECRET Clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance
  • Demonstrated expertise in:

    • Information Technology (IT) and system of systems platforms suitable for documenting and enhancing medical care at Roles 1-3
    • Rapid Agile/DevSecOps development and integration of software solutions to satisfy the Army's 10 Medical Functions in cooperation with other agencies.
    • Troubleshooting/researching activities during Agile/DevSecOps capability development and/or issue resolutions.
    • Overseeing Agile/DevSecOps DoD/Army testing for COTS and GOTS hardware and software products for Operational Medicine
    • Translating medical requirements into Operation Medicine capability, software development, or technical specifications.
    • DOD and Army legacy and future Operational Medical software applications
    • Managing and the execution of Agile/DevSecOps activities.
    • Identifying and managing technical/architecture risks for operational medicine.


  • Knowledge of:

    • The Army's 10 medical functions as they pertain to Operational Medicine
    • PII and PHI compliance requirements
