Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Architect with demonstrated experience in designing and building computer networks such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communication networks.

As a Senior Network Architect, you will:

- Serve as an IT lead for the team responsible for networks and systems.
A week in the life of a Senior Network Architect:
- Manage, monitor, safeguard, and maintain the networking systems.
- Make required adjustments and minor repairs to ensure that systems operate smoothly.
- Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) technologies.
- Provide analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of network/systems.
- Design and build networks, taking into consideration factors such as bandwidth, infrastructure, and security requirements.
- Use information on existing network traffic to estimate the growth of the network.
- Provide recommendations to make upgrades to the network.
- Play a crucial role in upgrading network equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and other IT related technical problems with staff.
- Maintain a detailed record of the networks, including but not limited to network drawings, text descriptions, and equipment configurations.
Job Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- BS/BA degreein a technical or IT discipline and 10years experience
- At least 2 years of the experience must be in engineering networks supporting the DoD.
- At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, and procedure/test generation.
- Ability to travel approx. 4-6 times a year.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite software to create spreadsheets, prepare presentations, reports, and documents.
