Visor Academic Center is a division of University College which exists to help students make successful transitions to Illinois State University, achieve their educational goals, and realize their academic potential in their first year and beyond. The Visor Center does this through specialized communities, programs, and services including facilitated study groups, writing assistance, learning workshops, and developmental and transitional courses. Additional Information Content tutors provide small-group tutoring on a weekly basis, for lower level courses at Illinois State University. A Comprehensive list of courses is at: https://universitycollege.illinoisstate.edu/tutoring/ Pay Rate $14.00/hour Required Qualifications Applicants must have an overall GPA of at least 2.80. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will be proficient in the area in which they desire to tutor and be able to convey that knowledge clearly via the spoken and written word. Work Hours May be some nights and weekends.
