Cape Fox Facilities Servicesis seeking a Facilities Management Assistant to join our team in Hamilton, MT in support of the NIH.

Responsibilities:



  • Assists with determining location, square footage and assigned use of space.
  • Consolidate AutoCad and Revit drawings for each building on campus with the following: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Controls, Site Utilities, Structural, Civil, Communication, Code Summaries, etc.
  • Assist NIH personnel with creating Cad standards, file structures, standard plot files and creating block and family libraries.
  • Uses software program to color code each space by assigned use.
  • Work with staff on tracking requests for new space or change in space assignment using a software program.
  • Prepares reports including assigned use of space, list of current occupants, equipment, furniture layout and finish boards.
  • Produce reports regarding space occupancy and space utilization.
  • Maintains spreadsheet indicating space data, use type and square footage.
  • Prepare, maintain and update databases, spreadsheets and status reports to indicate space use types and square footage.
  • Assists with surveying space areas and records location and use of all phone and LAN outlets.

  • May triage incoming requests for facility maintenance.
  • Receive and coordinate work orders for facility repairs.
  • Assures the optimal function of building systems in areas.
  • Interface with building maintenance personnel to correct wide range of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and facility problems.
  • Determines location, square footage and assigned use of space.

  • Coordinates work flow of office and off-site work areas.
  • Work with laboratory groups and managers with equipment surveys prior to move.
  • Work with laboratory groups, architects and move management teams to ensure that the needs of the scientists are met and that the move is performed in an orderly manner.
