Apply for Job Job ID 52992 Location Rolla Full/Part Time Full-Time Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Hiring Department Earth Sciences and Engineering Job Description The Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering (ESE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) invites applications for an open-rank non-tenure-track position in geology and geophysics to begin in January or August 2025. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong commitments to high-quality teaching and service to the department and campus. Teaching responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, courses in the broad areas of structural geology and earth materials. Qualifications The educational requirements may be met through a Ph.D. in a sub-field of the geological sciences or a closely related discipline, or through a M.S. in a sub-field of the geological sciences or a related discipline with 10 or more years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include a proven track record in high-quality teaching, as well as a record of service contributions.
