Position SummaryThe
University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal
Medicine, seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical
Care and Sleep Medicine. This position
is for an Open Rank, clinician educator track. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education. As the only
academic medical center for the state, opportunity exists for innovation in
teaching and providing care for both rural and urban populations from diverse
cultures. This position will be primarily located in the University
of New Mexico Hospital outpatient clinic and inpatient pulmonary consult
service. You would have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials,
teaching and telehealth.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

a) Must be board certified in Internal Medicine; and
b) Board certified in pulmonary disease
c) Must be eligible to work in the US (this is not a J1
position)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in:

1) Outpatient pulmonary clinic and inpatient consults
2) Education of fellows and house staff in pulmonary and
critical care medicine
3) Experience with advanced bronchoscopy and diagnostics
4) Board eligible in Critical Care
5) A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity,
inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse
communities
