Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery

Job Description

Department of Otolaryngology, University of Missouri School of Medicine

Successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills, adept at various software programs including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software platforms. Position does require an after-hours commitment (known in advance) of approximately 6-8 times a year. Ideal candidate will work to solve problems, communicate effectively with stakeholders and enjoys working with people at all levels of the Department and Health system. This is not a remote position.

Support Department Faculty through calendar management, requests for travel and special projects.

Ad-hoc projects as needed.

Head and Neck Surgery Residency Training Program Administrator:
-Prepare/maintain conference calendar
-Clinical experience hours tracking
-Evaluation completion and reporting
-Facilitate ACGME program requirements compliance
-Track resident individual expenses
-Prepare semi-annual evaluations
-Organize Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee
-Organize/support special courses
-Recruitment
-Other duties as assigned to meet program objectives

Otology Fellowship Training Program Administrator:
-Evaluation completion and reporting
-Recruitment

Medical Student Coordinator:
-Evaluation completion and reporting
-Scheduling

Shift

8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior medical office experience. Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite skills and experience learning management suite applications.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $16.72 - $22.88/hour
Grade: GGS-007
University Title: STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST II
