Job Summary:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a child neurologist with subspeciality training in pediatric movement disorders interested in pursuing an academic career and joining our expanding Pediatric Neurology and Comprehensive Epilepsy Programs at UW Hospital and Clinics, American Family Childrens Hospital and affiliated locations. This position includes opportunities for teaching and research. Responsibilities: Clinical activities include attending duties in pediatric neurology clinics and on inpatient services at the University Hospital and the American Family Children's hospital at the University of Wisconsin, Unity Point Meriter Hospital and affiliated regional hospitals and clinics. The candidate will also provide treatment and neuromodulation procedures for pediatric movement disorders patients. Education: Required Qualifications: Must have completed a child neurology residency program, fellowship trained in pediatric movement disorders or equivalent experience. Must have a WI medical license by the time of appointment. Must be ABPN or AOBNP board eligible or certified in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
