Job Summary:
The Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology welcomes applications for a new tenure track faculty position focused on development and application of biomarkers targeting the several common causes of neurodegeneration and dementia. This new position will reside within the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) and join the leadership team of the Wisconsin ADRC, which is nationally renowned for its extensive expertise and innovative programs in aging and dementia research. Responsibilities: 90%: Conduct collaborative biomarker research with an emphasis on the several intersecting causes of cognitive impairment within ADRD. Education: Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a successful record of research productivity. Candidate's background should demonstrate an established research interest with a focus in multi-etiology causes of cognitive impairment. A record of novel published papers in the field of AD biomarkers is expected.
