Job Summary:
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for an academic surgical pathologist. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in genitourinary/ENT/endocrine service but can focus on GU or ENT depending on skills and interest. The laboratory processes approximately 60,000 surgical specimens per year. In addition, the appointee will be given the opportunity to work closely with multi-specialty UW Comprehensive Cancer Center groups on collaborative clinical and translational research projects and to teach a variety of learners. The University of Wisconsin Medical Center is a tertiary care center with comprehensive programs in cancer and transplantation. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will sign-out clinical cases on the genitourinary/ENT/endocrine service with a focus on GU or ENT pathology. They will also contribute to our teaching mission and collaborate on translational research projects. Education: Required Qualifications: Surgical Pathology subspecialty fellowship training in or greater than three years of sign-out experience in genitourinary or ENT pathology is required.
