Job Summary:
The Department of Theatre and Drama seeks candidates for an open-rank appointment as Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor of Directing/Acting to begin August 2025. Candidates should have earned a terminal degree, MFA or PHD in theatre or closely related field, with an emphasis in directing and/or performance, and professional directing and/or performance experience, and at least two years of university level teaching experience. Responsibilities: - Support programs in Theatre and Drama by designing new courses and teaching existing courses in directing, acting, and related areas. A faculty of eight work in close collaboration with eight instructional academic staff, and the department is supported by an administrative team of four and four teaching specialists working in the production shops. The department engages PhD candidates in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies (ITS) programs as Teaching Assistants and Project Assistants.
