Essential Job Functions:




  • Shall have authority to direct Level I work center personnel to accomplish specific maintenance actions as required to accomplish maintenance tasking in accordance with Department of Labor Skill Code definitions (responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.)
  • Shall receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
  • Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems.
  • Must be a technically qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable individual who is capable of exercising an appropriate level of responsibility in the H-60 Avionics area.
  • Provides technical support to electronic project engineers, shall utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet daily flight schedule.
  • Provides technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.



Minimum Education and Experience Required:



  • Candidate experience must be clearly defined on resumes by listing specific dates (month & year) and locations of relevant experience.
  • Shall have minimum of five years US Navy/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
  • Minimum five years Organizational Level Avionics/Electrical experience on H-60 aircraft (24 of the 36 months within last 3 years preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in automatic flight control, stabilization systems, weapons integration systems and fuel quantity systems
  • May be required to become Plane Captain certified in accordance with approved certification process for each T/M/S applicable to their background.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Specialized training courses are desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a current U.S. Secret clearance and be able to maintain it.
  • Must be available to work any shift.
  • Travel may be required.
