We are looking for a Lean Solutions Manager to join our Lean Solutions team. This position could be based in Woodlands, TX or Charlotte, NC .

Key responsibilities:

  • Coach/ mentor Lean projects to capture alignment to key business priorities while upskilling the capability level of the organization.
  • Led transformation efforts and support process improvement projects.
  • Create, evolve and provide Lean focused training and education to leaders and colleagues to meet current and future business environments.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert, role model and Guardian of the Lean Operating Model's application, principles and practices
  • Actively collaborate with stakeholders to build a common understanding of the Lean Operating Model's application to further enhance the organization's current business practices and processes
  • Seek out, identify, and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement to further progress the organization's business strategies and objectives, increase efficiency, mitigate risks, and improve overall customer service effectiveness.
  • Proactively provide strategic communication on process improvement activities, status updates and return on investment to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor, diagnosis, report and provide recommendations to leadership on the overall organization's Lean Maturity and health against 5 focus areas: Mindset & Behavior, Organization & Skills, Voice of the Customer Performance Management, Process Efficiency & Effectiveness
  • Other tasks as assigned

We are looking for:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black belt certification or industry equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience within Lean process improvement environment (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in Maersk product, business functions and/or operations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean Transformation, Lean Implementation and change management arenas.
  • Proven proficiency and experience understanding stakeholder and customer requirements, and how to improve processes to best address those expectations.
  • Documented success taking complex problems and tackling them through a methodical, Lean focused approach.
  • Proven experience understanding and creating successful return on investment strategies and performance.
  • Documented experience developing and upskilling others in principles and concepts of Lean Methodology.
  • Proven record of effective team building, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Effective Written/Verbal Communication
  • Proven Record in Building Strong Relationships & Networks

Pay Range:

$70,000 - $95,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
