Summary:
This Director level position reports directly to the Vice President of Home Care operations and is a senior leader of the Homecare / Hospice program leadership team. In this role you will oversee regulatory readiness, quality assurance, and clinical practice initiatives for the Homecare/Hospice program. As a leader, you will be a colleague with other leaders in the program, and serve as the expert advisor on CMS conditions of participation, state HCA (previously DOH) requirements, QA reporting and current clinical practice. You will also work to ensure compliance by creating teams and structures to measure, report and interactively design quality processes that improve quality, patient experience, financial return and staff engagement. You will also, determine an approach to accreditation and outlines a plan and program to achieve and sustain accreditation. Perform highly complex technical and analytical consultation and support for the Home Healthcare & Hospice programs compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies (i.e., Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, DOH, etc.). Minimizes risk levels by assisting with the prioritization, development, interpretation and deployment of policies, procedures and guidelines. Collaboration with various departments, administration, and leadership bodies is key to ensure organizational priorities are in accordance with accrediting, licensing, and legal requirements. This is anenterprise wide position, some travel required. Approximately 60% of position will be in support of Central Delivery System and 40% with the regional agencies.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership in program achievement such as TJC, NCQA, Baldrige, etc
Registered Nurse; with license to practice in New Mexico; bachelors degree.

Education:
* Bachelor Degree

Preferences:

MSN Preferred or DNP with experience coordinating homecare, and hospice QA programs preferred.

* Registered Nurse-NM
