We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. A successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, forecasting financial performance, economic thinking, and supporting strategic decision-making. They will also build relationships with key partners working to identify and drive opportunities and strategic initiatives. What You Will Do * Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management. * Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide insights into variances. * Data Management: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gather, process, and analyze financial data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports. * Strategic Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives, business development, and operational efficiency. * Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the financial health and performance of the company. Recommend actions to improve financial outcomes. * Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks. * Accounting Liaison: Work with corporate accounting to ensure operational data is properly translated into the general ledger, assist in any reporting needs, and that the general ledger accurately reflects the company's activities. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial analysis and reporting. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience: 4+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably within the technology or data sectors. * Previous experience with business analysis and data visualization tools (i.e., PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) * Previous experience with billing and CRMs (i.e., Stripe, Chargebee, FSM, Salesforce, etc.) * Strong interest in data collecting, cleansing, aggregating, and managing large data sets.
