Rate: First 60 days, $37.75/hr. 60 days to 16 weeks, $38.39/hr. 16 weeks and pasts, pay will top out at $39.12/hr. Voluntary overtime offered in this position Summary Install, maintain, diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot, make electrical and mechanical repairs, etc. toplant electrical, electronic, computer numerically controlled equipment, etc. and utilizing appropriate equipment. Analyze equipment, circuitry, diagnose troubles, repair, adjust, modify, service all types of electronic devices and systems. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing / plant equipment Performs preventive maintenance and calibration activities for the plant equipment Knowledge of computers, PLCs and other electronics Troubleshooting electrical capability and the ability to maintain all plant equipment Able to install, test, repair, and replace motors, drives, controls, starters, lights and power Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team Input data into Carrier's TMS work order and asset management system Follow industry best practice of safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection,and Lock Out Tag Out Demonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to plant operations Communicate appropriately with all site management employees Service, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMs Safely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, lifts, boom lifts, etc. Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required parts Safely use basic hand and power tools such as a drill press, power saw, grinder, etc. Have an understanding of belts, belt drives, chain drives, gear boxes and conveyors Read and interpret engineering drawing relative to the job assigned Safely use machining equipment such a band saw, drill press, lathe, etc. Install electrical systems & equipment according to NEC provisions & best practices Works safely and follow all established plant safety policies and procedures Perform miscellaneous duties as required Prepare and order parts and material needed for jobs Minimum Standards: High School Diploma - Technical school preferred Basic computer skills Combination of 5 years of Electrical experience, College Degree, technical school or formal apprenticeship program. Journeyman`s card 3 to 5 years work experience in the Electrical trade in the previous 5 years Experience with controls Knowledge of industry best practice of safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection,and Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Pass skilled trade's management interview Pass prescribed electrical test Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches Read and interpret engineering drawing relative to the job assigned Be able to perform advanced math calculations Basic computer skills #Ejobs |
