Position Summary:



Yeshiva University High Schools is seeking a Student Accounts Manager to manage all aspects of our tuition accounts and other business office related tasks. This position will provide comprehensive counseling to parents regarding financial aid applications through in-person, phone, and email conversations. The Student Accounts Manager will also set up the tuition and fees schedules for all students in FACTS assisting with the invoicing cycle and provide analysis of the Yeshiva University High Schools accounts. He/She will act as a key liaison with the YUHS business office and the YUHS board and Administration. This position will report to the Executive Director and will also assist with assigned business projects including, but not limited to, transportation logistics, assistance with all aspects of the annual fundraising dinners, and various purchasing and budgeting responsibilities.



Position Responsibilities:




  • Maintain records in FACTS for tuition and financial aid on an individual student basis.
  • Counsel families to complete the financial aid application process; compile and maintain records in the internal systems.
  • Oversee monthly invoicing cycle.
  • Assist in preparing reports for the Executive Director.
  • Compile necessary data for the Rose Biller application and ensure that it is completed by Heads of Schools and President of the Board of Trustees in a timely fashion.
  • Work directly with High Schools regarding holds of transcripts and report cards.
  • Assist the Executive Director with collections and miscellaneous projects.
  • Assist with coordinating school daily and late-night transportation.
  • Monitor progress of buses and communicate with administration and staff on any delays.
  • Liaise with bus companies regarding any bussing issues.
  • Ability to work independently and travel between campuses as needed.



Experience & Educational Background:




  • BA required plus 1-2 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience in collections/bursar's office highly desirable.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Ability to work with detailed, factual information from a variety of sources.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with computerized office systems including, but no limited to, Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple administrative tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer service in a timely and proficient manner. Must be able to handle matters with discretion and tact.



Salary Range:



$58,500-$62,000
