Position: Accounting Manager Experience: A minimum of 5+ years accounting experience with an emphasis on DCAA / DCMA compliance and audit. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. Compensation Range: $98k - $140k depending upon education, skills, and experience. Our Team at nLIGHT DEFENSE Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of nLIGHT, Inc. a publicly held company based in Camas, WA, develops high energy laser weapon systems, and the US Government is our primary customer. Compliance in accounting is critical both as a DoD contractor and as a public company. Our Accounting team is committed to maintaining compliance while operating at a high level of efficiency to ensure that our Engineers and Scientists can efficiently develop and deliver products to the warfighter. The Accounting Manager reports to the Senior Director of Business Functions and will be responsible for managing Government Compliance in Timekeeping, Customer Billing, Indirect Rates, Job Costing / Revenue Recognition, and various audit activities. Manages accounting staff with business unit level requirements as well as support for various enterprise level needs. Additional activities include Capex, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Inventory and Reporting / Management related functions.
