Location:Lee Health Locations include: Acute Care, The Rehab Hospital (IRF), Skilled Nursing (SNU/SNF), Home Health, Outpatient, Pediatrics Work Type: Full Time, Part Time, PRN FT/PT Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$25.34 - $32.95 / hour PRN pay rate: $33.74 / hour |$37.50 / hour (skilled nursing) SummaryPTA: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist (PT). PTAs implement selected components of patient/client interventions and obtain data related to that intervention; make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the Physical Therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort; educate and interact with Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant students, technicians, volunteers, patients/clients families, caregivers; and respond to patient/client and environmental emergency situations. The PTA is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The attributes, characteristics or behaviors required for success in this job include: critical thinking, communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, use of constructive feedback, effective use of time and resources, stress management, and commitment to learning. COTA: Provides occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist.
