This position will be supporting the cardiac rehab patients at 62 Tilley Drive. The position is currently posted at 28 hours a week/56 hours a pay period, with the future potential to increase to full time hours.

SIGN ON BONUS:

External candidates are eligible for a hiring bonus of between $2,100 - $3,500 depending on years of experience. The bonus will be paid out as 1/2 within your first paycheck; the second installment of 1/2 will be paid upon completion of six months of service in the department hired into. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides physical therapy to patients in varying states of health and illness. Physical therapists diagnose and manage movement dysfunction, enhance physical and functional abilities, and promote optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health. Physical therapists prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries. Physical therapists function as an essential member of therapy and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients. They teach and prepare patients/families and caregivers for continued care after discharge. The physical therapist may be involved in consultative services within the organization and in the community. The physical therapist demonstrates dedication to professional growth and development and to the continuous improvement of patient care.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's of Science or higher degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Vermont.
