The Dr. Sophie Lyn Rydin SCHOOL OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY at Texas Woman's University Health Science Center in Houston is seeking a clinical faculty member who will thrive in a climate of intellectual vitality and academic excellence, and will support our innovative and community-centered programs with teaching, scholarship, and service activities. TWU's occupational therapy program in the College of Health Sciences is a rich scholarly environment offering the entry level OTD and PhD in Occupational Therapy degrees. Texas Woman's is a publicly funded co-educational institution designated as a Doctoral/research-intensive University by the Carnegie Foundation. The main campus is in Denton, with campuses in Dallas and Houston located within regional medical centers.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Full-time, clinical position at the instructor to assistant/associate rank. Contracts are 9-month with opportunity to expand to 12-month salary with summer teaching. Clinical responsibilities emphasize teaching and include scholarly work and participation in university and school service. Experience with behavioral health is a plus.

Qualifications:

A doctorate in occupational therapy or related field required (may consider those in progress with impending graduation).

Must hold or be eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of Texas.
