The Organizational Psychology degree program within the Department of Applied Psychology at Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology ( GSAPP), created the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations ( CREIO). The mission of CREIO is to advance research and practice of emotional and social intelligence in organizations through the generation and exchange of knowledge. CREIO was founded in the spring of 1996 with the initial mandate to study all that is known about emotional intelligence in the workplace.
This position is to direct CREIO and ensure that the mission is accomplished, as well as the development of innovative ideas for the application and research of emotional intelligence in organizations including evidenced-based theory, assessment, application, and best practices.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
Doctoral training in organizational psychology, or related field, with expertise/impact in the fields of emotional and social intelligence.
The qualifications are required to lead a team of experts in the field of emotional intelligence.
Doctoral degree in organizational psychology, or related field.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Develop innovative ideas to create financial health of CREIO.
Organize one to two conferences per year to bring the experts together.
Create synergy between GSAPP and CREIO.
