Research Associate position is available to study cancer metabolism and/or protein homeostasis. The cancer metabolism project will focus on amino acid and nitrogen metabolism in various cancer models. The protein homeostasis position will focus on protein degradation (autophagy, proteasome) and post-translational modifications such as ubiquitylation and sumoylation in cancer development and treatment. Candidates will have the opportunities to publish high-impact papers and to pursue an independent career.

Minimum Education and Experience

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in cancer biology, cell/molecular biology, or a related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong background in cancer biology. The primary focus will be in the areas cancer cell metabolism, redox regulation, and autophagy/apoptosis. Candidates should have one or more first author publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals. The candidate must have effective communication skills and be highly motivated, self-driven, creative, and interactive, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Biochemistry and cell biology equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Overview
