JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We are searching for a Network Architect to join our DevSecOps Department at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. ARL's purpose is to research and develop innovative solutions to challenging scientific, engineering, and technology problems in support of the Navy, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Intel Community (IC). In this role, you will be responsible for the Network Transport planning, design and implementation of large scale, complex network solutions that include all types of connectivity across different types of networks and locations, which may include 5G wireless and LEO satellite networks. Your working location will be fully on-site, located in San Diego, CA or Arlington, VA, and you will be working in secure facilities approximately 75% of the time. Remote work may be available in a limited capacity. Travel may be required to support distant end installation or break fix actions at quick notice.
