JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of Agricultural Sciences Department of Marketing and Communications is seeking a skilled part-time graphic designer. The position is responsible for assisting the creative services team with design and production of college and extension print and digital materials. Successful candidate will prepare primarily marketing materials. Candidates are required to have a thorough understanding of design and typography, digital and offset print processes and color systems, and must be highly proficient with Mac OS, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop and basic Microsoft Office products. This position requires an ability to provide creative design and typographic solutions, color-correct images, and develop interactive and accessible pdfs. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and customer service skills, be able to handle multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines. Familiarity with creating accessible digital documents is a plus. Responsibilities also include tracking projects in various software and maintaining all archives. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in print design and production, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
