JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking a Part-time Interim Assistant Coach for the Diving program. Responsibilities include coaching, developing, motivating, and evaluating academically and athletically qualified student athletes all in compliance with NCAA, Big 10, and Penn State University policies and procedures. Other specific responsibilities include:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Coaching experience is required. Commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and Department, including Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics vision to prepare students for a lifetime of impact. Proven organizational, evaluation, administrative, and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; and knowledge of sport regulations are required. The position is classified as part-time and exempt. This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
