- Perform integration and test activities comprising field support of ongoing project activities.
- Perform Field Change modification to existing Designs as needed
- Perform field troubleshooting, maintenance in CBTC equipment such as vehicle and wayside systems, and other external tasks related to test documentation and formalization of reports.
- Under the supervision of a tester-in-charge, perform on-site installation and maintenance of CBTC equipment
- Identify problems detected during tests and communicate to the tester-in-charge as soon as possible
- Supports troubleshooting and repair of CBTC equipment as needed
- Provides support of test Carborne and Wayside activities and the planning of field activities
- Works with diverse departments and becomes involved in all phases of test and commissioning
- Promotes customer relations/company credibility
- Provide summaries and details of test activities in the form of both informal and formal test reports

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience with troubleshooting and solving moderately complex assignments
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Work experience in industrial/factory/field construction areas
- Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at the project site
- Experience in customer interaction and adapting their processes
- Working knowledge of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) products with respect to installation support and testing a vital asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written and good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated fluency and understanding/comprehension in oral and written English
- Strong process orientation and discipline to ensure compliance with both Corporate and Customer procedures
- Critical thinking, able to identify and implement better efficiencies and process improvements
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changes in priorities
- Capacity to move in the field environment: train track, car shop, remote technical rooms and train station
- Capacity to board the train from a car pit
- Capacity to read field instruments such as meters or oscilloscopes
