Description & Requirements
As a Forvis Mazars Tax Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team in tax, while providing an unmatched client experience. If you have experience with managing tax advisory services and tax compliance to a diversified client base, with a focus on Nonprofit organizations, this is the position for you!
How you will contribute:
  • Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to tax-exempt organizations with an emphasis on higher education institutions, associations, healthcare entities, social service organizations, and grant-making foundations including private foundations
  • Helping in developing, building, and managing client relationships
  • Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
  • Reviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniors
  • Effectively delegating responsibilities to others and monitoring efforts of engagement teams
  • Successfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and communicating those findings in writing
  • Having frequent contact with client personnel at top levels and being able to consistently sell additional services to them
  • Having a disciplined approach that is reasonably successful in attracting new clients and developing referral sources
We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:

  • Excellent supervisory and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and against client deadlines
  • High-level analytical and reasoning skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 7 years or more in public accounting or corporate tax department with a minimum of 5 years working in the Nonprofit area
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
  • Partnership tax experience
