JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Conferences and Institutes is hiring co-instructors/activity leaders/teaching assistants for various courses that have off-site learning components. Duties may include assisting with content development and instruction; preparation of learning materials and activities; presentation of specific subjects; assisting with course activities; supervising students during class trips; following appropriate protocols in the instance of student illness/injury or emergency during class trips. Duties may also include driving undergraduate students and equipment to off-site locations. Since this position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties, a valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. Some drivers will be requested to drive a variety of vehicles up to the size of a 15 passenger van. Additional training may be required. Prior experience and the ability to engage learners is preferred.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
