Job Description

The David B. O'Maley College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach Campus) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Operations and Logistics Management. The candidate is expected to possess a doctoral degree in Operations Management and logistics or other closely related disciplines from an accredited institution (e.g., AACSB or ABET). Previous professional experience in the industry and the ability to teach courses in Simulation is a plus. Candidates with prior background and/or research experience in the aviation and aerospace industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

The candidate should have strong research potential as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching. The candidate is expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as to teach and supervise the research work of doctoral students in the College. College committee membership and service to the University are also required.

The starting date for this position is Fall 2024 (or Spring 2025). To be considered, candidates must submit a cover letter, copy of their current Curriculum Vitae, sample publications, research statement, and contact information of three references when applying to the vacancy.
