JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Part-Time Teaching Assistants, Department of Kinesiology

The Kinesiology Department has a need for qualified Part-Time Teaching Assistants for Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024 semesters. Our need primarily involves general assistance with a small number of courses including holding office hours to answer students' questions, grading assignments and assessments, proctoring exams, helping with Canvas, and facilitating the efforts of the instructor of record. We invite applications from qualified applicants preferably with at least a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field, and/or an equivalent knowledge based on experience. Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and contact information for three professional references.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
