JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State University is seeking applicants for a per diem Athletic Trainer.The per diem Athletic Trainer will work directly with the full-time Sports Medicine staff to provide medical services for student-athletes participating in Division 1 Varsity or Team Sport activities. Hours and schedule are flexible and will vary based on the needs of the department. This position will be used to assist in the coverage of the full-time Sports Medicine staff when needed, with services including practice and event coverage with emphasis on immediate medical care. Applicants must be a PA licensed Athletic Trainer with active First Aid/CPR certification and in good standing with the BOC. This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
