The Patient Visitor Parking Manager is responsible for all parking operations at designated patient and visitor parking areas. Responsibilities include management of parking access and control systems, cash collections, handling, and reconciliation, staffing and scheduling, parking area cleanliness, parking arrangements for guests and special events, and shuttle services for patients and visitors of patients arriving for clinic appointments. The Manager collaborates with Security and VCU Police to ensure and enforce that only VCU Health patients and visitors park in designated patient and visitor parking areas. Essential Job Statements

Employment Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or closely-related field Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or closely-related field Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred: N/A Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the field of parking management, with a minimum of (2) years in a supervisory/management position. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Thorough knowledge of parking operation and maintenance with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Must have strong communication skills, with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc., with strong keying skills. Cultural Responsiveness: Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. General office environment. May be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse. May be exposed to adverse weather conditions; cold, hot, dust, wind, etc. Prolonged periods of working alone.
