Summary: Provides crisis intervention and symptom stabilization Responsibilities: Provides Provides emergency assessments to consumers. Ability to use assessment tools for proper Assess consumers for risk of harm to self or others. Recommends disposition and plan for stabilization Consults with all relevant parties to seek out Facilitates involuntary/voluntary hospitalizations Provides emergency case management for consumers Identifies and offers referral assistance and Schedules and participates in psychiatric/ Evaluates medication side effects and reports Possesses current job knowledge of all agency Coordinates and consults with ER staff while Ensures Consults Provides emergency Participates in treatment planning meetings and Initiates calls or home visits to monitor a Available Adheres to documentation standards in accordance Documentation of clinical work submitted according Obtains past records in order to substantiate and/or Obtains proper authorization from insurers as Has consumer complete and sign GHI insurance forms Functions as a resource for clients ER and Gateway While at the ER provides education for ER staff as Rotates with other clinicians the duties of Provides intensive services to active ES clients Participates in treatment plan meetings when Schedules duties in coordination with other ES team Appropriately Is reliable Will Will have Will take Will Participates in all necessary meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Other information: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Masters Effectively present information and respond to questions from professionals managers clients family and the general public. Read analyze and interpret professional journals policy and procedures and governmental regulations. Write reports and general correspondence. Analyze client and system information identify problems establish facts draw valid conclusions develop options and strategies for resolving problems monitor implementation and evaluate the problem solving process for effectiveness. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables concurrently. Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications Oral and written communication skills including speech grammar spelling and legibility are at sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all unites of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator.
