Summary: Responsibilities: Other information: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION:Bachelor*s Degree and Master*s Degree in Nursing required (or within six months of completion) with relevant clinical experience. CNS CNL or NP certification preferred. Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes human development stages and sensitivity to cultural diversity in each step of the care process. QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years* relevant clinical experience with demonstrated leadership teaching and communication skills. Experience should exhibit an exceptional level of written and oral communication skill. The ability to conceptualize develop and effect quality nursing services with a commitment to continuous quality improvement is essential. Strong interpersonal/negotiation/mediation skills and demonstrated effective leadership in an environment with culturally diverse needs and abilities of staff. Maintains clinical competency in order to understand processes and identify barriers to improve the quality of patient care. Develops and maintains expertise in the field to address questions and provide strategic direction for quality. SUPERVISION: Shared supervisory responsibility with Assistant Clinical Managers and Clinical Managers for up to 120 FTEs.
