Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans. Accessible Space, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) in Las Vegas, NV- within a successful, growing, long-established organization - with an amazing clinical team!! In this role, the Scheduling Coordinator serve as a key member of the administrative support team, ensuring accurate scheduling through an electronic medical record system that aligns with ASI protocols. Scheduling Coordinator duties include: facilitate the weekly staff scheduling ensuring accuracy and efficiency in coordination with staffing and clinic resources. Communicate effectively with persons served or their families via phone calls or emails to provide appointment details, while offering clear instructions regarding any necessary preparations or actions required prior to the appointment. Gather patient information from a variety of sources (Admissions Coordinator, Case Management, etc.). To qualify you must have a minimum of one year of successful experience working in a fast-paced environment in a scheduling role. Knowledge of and experience with general office practices and standard business operations and machines. Proficiency in MS Word and its applications, and a working knowledge of Excel and its applications. Excellent oral communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone. The ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing to ensure proper documentation and transfer of information. Excellent organization skills and a strong detail orientation. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals. Successful experience working with an electronic medical records system, proficiency with medical terminology, prior experience working with adults with physical disabilities and/or brain injuries all pluses.
