Position Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking board-certified, eligible, or similarly qualified Otolaryngologist for a full-time position at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank. This position will entail clinic and operating room coverage of a department of corrections facility for two days a week as well as hospital consult coverage for much of the remaining time. A wide range of otolaryngology skills including interest in or willingness to learn facial trauma surgery is encouraged. The successful candidate should have a strong interest in and potential for teaching and research. Ample opportunity for exposure to all facets of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery patient care available.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD required. BC/BE
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
A wide range of otolaryngology skills including interest in or willingness to learn facial trauma surgery is encouraged.
