GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Provide requirement guidance to the Engineering Department and support the Application Engineering departments to ensure compliance with current and future customer requirements to support engineering goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Responsible for requirement management and compliance with a given program
  • Provides input to the other engineering departments to include but notwithstanding, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CAD, Configuration Management, New Product Development, Integrated Logistics Support departments, and Applications Engineering.
  • Provides support to meet Engineering schedules and budgets in coordination with Program Managers.
  • Contributes to providing direction and guidance to Engineering personnel to ensure the department can meet current and future program requirements.
  • Provides support to ensure quality, productivity, and innovation in new product design.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with customers and team leads in order to accomplish program goals through Systems Engineering.
  • Provides Engineering Estimates and Applications Engineering support for quotes as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering from an accredited university.
  • At least five years of related experience in Engineering, Program Management, Technical Sales, and Engineering Management.
  • Advanced or professional degrees and certifications preferred
  • Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, approaches, and strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Electrical Engineering fundamentals and electrical subsystems
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing Processes.
  • AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and electrical wiring software experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software
