This appointment's primary teaching and clinical focus is providing faculty support to the general surgery section in the Veterinary Health Center (VHC). Intermittent, limited support to the surgical oncology section may be required. As part of this appointment, the successful candidate will:
Initial appointment will begin as soon as a well-qualified candidate can be identified and hired. The Veterinary Health Center is a progressive environment where there is a culture of collegiality and patient care is top priority. The General Surgery Service of ureteroscopic offers surgical care for all types of advanced soft tissue procedures. We have access to top-of-the-line CT, Pet-CT, 3T MRI, and a state-of-the-art fluoroscopy suite. Rigid endoscopic and flexible equipment is utilized frequently for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Ectopic ureteral laser ablation and other interventional procedures are performed in cooperation with the Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Radiology Services. Qualifications
