Neurology Job Description
The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a full-time MS Specialist/Neuroimmunologist to join our vibrant and growing Neurology practice. Join a dynamic practice of sub-specialty and general neurologists all providing care for this special population. We are looking to expand our clinical offerings and research opportunities by building a dedicated MS Program. Clinical and some didactic teaching is expected, and the opportunity to precept in resident clinic is available. Opportunity Details: * Join a department of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists As the largest Neurologic Care Team in mid-Missouri, the department's facilities include: * A dedicated 28-bed Neurosciences Center with 6 bed EMU Our academic programs include a neurology residency program and the following six ACGME accredited neurology fellowship programs: o Clinical Neurophysiology In addition to clinical opportunities, NextGen Precision Health, MU Center for Translational Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory offers a vast array of academic and research opportunities. Currently, there are established basic and translational research programs with 30+ clinical trials in Neurology.
