The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Missouri (MU) Job Description
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Missouri (MU) invites applications for two tenure-track/tenured positions anticipated at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. Applications are sought from candidates who can help the department to conduct innovative research and provide a world-class education. One position will be in Structural Engineering and one position will be in Water Resources Engineering. All emphasis areas within structures and water resources are of interest. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an interdisciplinary team that will be a world leader in their field. The successful candidate will join a department with a thriving research program. The department's research expenditures in 2023 were $6M or $310,000 per faculty. The College of Engineering is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service to the excellence of the academic community. Minimum qualifications require a doctoral degree awarded in civil engineering or a related field by start of appointment, and candidates will be evaluated on a demonstrated ability or strong potential to establish externally funded research programs in the stated areas. Application Deadline
