The Department Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Job Description
This is a NIH-funded postdoctoral research position with full benefits, available in the Baker Lab at the Life Sciences Center University of Missouri-Columbia. The primary objective of this position is to study resolution of salivary gland inflammation and mechanisms of salivary gland fibrosis. The candidate will develop and execute using cell culture and vertebrate animal testing, data analysis, manuscript preparation, presentation of results, and working with collaborators and other members of the research team at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biology, Physiology, Oral Biology or a related discipline. Candidates will be evaluated on: A strong background in molecular biology, bioengineering, animal science and imaging techniques as well as peer-reviewed publications. Expertise in more than one of the following areas: confocal microscopy, assay development, protein detection/quantification, and cell signaling studies. Application Materials
