The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting a full-time assistant professor/research faculty. Candidates will have to demonstrate high impact research productivity and a vision for an independently federally funded research program. Candidates' work should have a focus on translational human neuroscience with the goal of eventually improving therapeutic interventions. The candidate should have strong computational skills with evidence of collaborative teamwork. They must also hold a Ph.D. or comparable degree. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
