The Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting for a research faculty member with expertise in immunology. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Applicant should have a completed a postdoctoral degree. This individual will develop a Research Program, complete submission of funding applications, submit publications in high impact journals and participate in presentations at local and national meetings, interact with other lab members to mentor and direct the research program. Attend lab meetings bi-weekly Departmental and University seminars. The job will require applying for grants and seeking independent funding. A commitment to basic and clinical research is essential.
