Xcel Gymnastics Coach -Beverly YMCA

The Beverly YMCA is seeking an experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team and lead children and youth as we build upon an already excellent program. Opportunities are available for High Level, Low Level, and Xcel coaches. Coaches must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and compassionate, with a passion for leading and assisting others to meet cheer goals.

Essential Functions:

• Teach youth and teen recreational classes to promote team participation
• Inspire the youths in our community by serving as their greatest role models
• Watch the hard work pay off when cheerleaders succeed in practices and at competitions
• Build long-lasting, genuine relationships with Y staff and families
• Help teens build essential life skills

• Previous experience coaching Xcel Bronze & Silver and/or JO Levels 3 - 5 (minimum)
• Experience working in a competition setting
• General knowledge of Xcel or JO Compulsory Code of Points
• SafeSport Certified (or completed within 15 days of hire)
• Pay range depends on experience
