Job Description

What You'll Do:
The Plant Manager is responsible for manufacturing areas of both the Bakery and Cheese Operations Facilities of Colony Brands, Inc. This position leads with Safety (both Human and Food), integrity, and works well with all internal--and external--customers to continually drive/improve all aspects of business results, process improvements and culture improvements.

You'll also be responsible for:
* Monitoring production, working cross-functionally to achieve key metrics and ensure build plan is being met.
* Overseeing and providing leadership for corrective and preventative action items as well as for activities regarding regulatory compliance and audits.
* Building, developing and managing a manufacturing team capable of carrying out needed operation strategies.
* Showing strong proficiency and ability working with employee relations, conflict resolution, and employee communication.
* Creating budgets and analyzing financial statements and performance data to ensure financial goals are met.
* Recommending capital improvement projects for improving production and profit.

What It Takes:
Our products, workload, and days are varied requiring someone with strong planning and analytical skills who is adept at handling scheduling and input changes. This person must possess high level communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. This role requires someone with operations, managerial, analytical, planning and, project engineering experience in a high-volume distribution environment.

In addition, we are looking for:
* A solution-oriented and customer-focused demeanor
* Ability to lead people and achieve positive results through others
* Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Strong computer systems knowledge, specifically with the Microsoft Suite & ERP systems
* Working with food manufacturing partners in driving and managing capital expenditures.
