Medical Assistant - Ob/Gyn

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant for our Ob/Gyn department at the Fairfax Ambulatory Care Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

Position Highlights:

Outpatient environment & updated facilities
• Emphasis on work-life balance (no weekend, evening, on-call, or holiday requirements)

• Schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• Taking a patient's history and personal information upon arrival of appointment
• Scheduling appointments and answering the phone
• Checking patient vitals and provide assistance to physician in office with dermatological procedures

Requirements:

• Required: Graduated from an Accredited Medical Assistant program
• Required: 2-years of experience as a medical assistant. At least 3 months experience working in a women's health center or Ob/Gyn clinical setting (resume must reflect solid, relevant experience)
• Active BLS certification
