Summary

The main responsibilities of this role are to lead the commercial clinical team in achieving high customer satisfaction with the use of Baxter products, while supporting the sales and marketing organizations.

Key responsibilities include achieving revenue commitments, supporting new product launches, and addressing clinical needs both externally and internally. The commercial clinical team may include registered nurses, registered pharmacists, and other licensed clinicians.

This role supports the Medical Products and Therapies segment, specifically the Infusion Therapies and Technologies business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with CNOs and other key clinical stakeholders.
  • Provide committee presentation support, product demos, and participate in clinical fairs.
  • Involve in RFIs and RFPs related to clinical offerings and services.
  • Create and support clinical programs, including Pump Needs Analysis, Sets Standardization, Interoperability Readiness, and Continuous Quality Improvement Analytics.
  • Ensure new product launch readiness across prelaunch, launch, and post-launch phases.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop content in collaboration with Marketing and Training teams.
  • Engage proactively with customers, especially in competitive accounts.
  • Oversee infusion pump phase 1 implementation-related clinical activities at hospitals and hospital networks across the U.S., including nursing education and training, and clinical project management.
  • Interface and support sales, marketing, product divisions, R&D, quality, medical affairs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage a team of scalable, contracted clinician educators to assist based on workload and customer needs.
  • Monitor and measure results associated with clinical initiatives using our CRM.

What you will bring:

  • Ability to direct, deploy, and develop a field-based team of highly experienced and skilled clinicians.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and experience in public speaking/presentations to C-suite level audiences.
  • Successfully collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agile and analytic mindset to support proactive, creative problem solving, action planning, and solution implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a large team of clinicians.
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience within a nursing leadership role.
  • Previous experience in healthcare industry clinical sales or clinical sales support role
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is US $184,000 - US $253,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity.
