Job Objective: As the Assistant Clinical Director, you will provide vision and direction to the staff for all programmatic functions of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center. The program functions include Assessment/Referral, Withdrawal Management/Detoxification, Residential Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program, Program Gambling Treatment, 3.1 Residential Services and Transitional Housing. Provide oversight of all mental health aspects of the program. Ensure that the clinical treatment delivery is in compliance with CARF standards, funding sources, ethics, and professional guidelines. Ensure that the client is provided the highest quality of addiction services utilizing the most up-to-date research methods and theories ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: Master's Degree required in Addictions or Social Services. Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or HSPP preferred Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: Minimum of two years supervisory experience. Experience in addiction treatment and the 12-step model for recovery preferred Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment. Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises the Team Leads and their direct reports. Travel: Position may require occasional travel for training. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical in/outpatient environment; may require some weekend and evening work.
