Security Technician FS Facilities Services Full Time 80584BR Job Summary The Access Controls & Security Systems (ACSS) unit is comprised of: Center of Excellence ACSS Program Manager, Security Techs, Locksmith, Security Techs, Locksmith, and Key Cutters. The group is responsible for providing technical support in the installation, repair, and maintenance of locks and security systems to Facilities Services teams, Medical Center and the University at large. Under the general direction of the Access Controls Security Systems Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for: door preparation, installation of locks, exit devices, door closers, electronic hardware, cameras, card readers, alarm panels and associated devices. Repairing, and providing preventative maintenance to doors, locks, exit devices key fabrication and miscellaneous electronic security systems. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $61.20 - $61.20 (Hourly Rate).
